We are very excited to be able to introduce Ruth Parker-Wakeling as our new Director for FAME. Ruth joins our MD, Martin Lay, and Hayley Patrick-Copeland, our choreographer.
Ruth has been involved in the theatre since she was very young. She started out as a performer, performing in all manner of shows including two world premiers. Ruth studied
Drama and Theatre Studies at Liverpool where she became much more focused on writing and directing. Ruth has nearly 20 years of experience writing, directing and teaching young people and has directed many shows including Annie, Bugsy, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar and Fame.
After today’s fantastic workshop, we can’t wait to start working with Ruth on this amazing show.
