Step into the Roaring Twenties where murders are daily news, and Chicago jazz clubs are your regular hang outs. When Roxie Hart murders her faithless lover in a moment of anger, her life is thrown upside down as she finds herself in jail on death row. In the Cook County Jail, Roxie meets famed double-murderess Velma Kelly, who soon becomes her rival for the spotlight and the news headlines!
With the help of Matron “Mama” Morton and the infamous attorney Billy Flynn, the women find themselves ultimately joining forces in search of the “American Dream”- fame, fortune, and acquittal.
